For years, customers have told us they find it frustrating to remove a freshly-printed document from an inkjet printer, only to find that, because it has not yet dried, the inks have smeared. So we asked our engineers to put pen to paper, so to speak, and address the problem. Their solution? ColorLok technology, which helps the sheet dry much faster, so it is less likely to smear.

	ColorLok™ technology produces darker blacks.

Faster dry-time is just the beginning. Documents printed on HP Everyday Papers with ColorLok, using HP inks, feature darker blacks for bolder text and richer, deeper greys. Special additives are incorporated into the sheet to prevent black inks from penetrating too deeply, which results in something our engineers call “improved optical density.” (Your customers will call it bolder words, graphics and pictures.)
